Leadership of Christ the King Episcopal Church

Bishop Susan Brown Snook

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Susan Brown Snook is the chief pastor of our diocese. She is the apostolic leader in mission, evangelism and spiritual formation. She represents the diocese to the wider church and the wider church to the diocese.

“We can live more deeply into the way we have always done things. Or we can allow change to bring transformation. Change comes from the outside; transformation is how we respond on the inside. Transformation is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Transformation allows us to discover new approaches and overcome unanticipated challenges.” Bishop Susan Brown Snook

The Rev. Canon Dr William Schwartz

Fr Bill came to Christ the King as pastor in August 2022 after retiring as a missionary of the Episcopal Church for just short of 50 years in the Middle East. He is passionate about the Bible, allowing it to speak from its own historical and cultural perspective, and discovering how that rich heritage informs the way we live as followers of Jesus Christ. His background gives him a deep appreciation for the diversity of the Body of Christ and Jesus’ new command to love and accept one another as Jesus loves and accepts us. (Ro 5:10)

Christ The King’s Vestry

In the Episcopal Church, the governing committee is called a Vestry. Our vestry meets every month to pray, discuss, and guide the management aspects of parish life and the building and grounds. Our vestry members welcome your prayers for this important work.
